Thu, Sep 15, 2016 - Thu, Sep 15, 2016

9:00 am - 4:15 pm

On Sept. 15, 2016 CPIA will host a Resource Recovery Tour to provide interested parties with a first-hand look at the latest technology in leading-edge waste management facilities in the GTA.

Who should attend?
This invitation-only event is an ideal opportunity for elected officials, government regulators, waste managers, brand owners and retailers.

What will you see and learn?
During these tours you’ll see and hear about leading-edge waste management technologies – from recycling to energy recovery – and better understand how they can co-exist in an environmentally and economically sustainable way.

Attendees will see mechanical systems at work and gain an operational perspective on the handling and management of plastics and other recyclables.

With the knowledge gained from expert presentations as well as the physical tours, attendees will better understand the available recovery technologies, and how business and governments can proactively formulate and promote better resource recovery policies.

Includes lunch and transportation between facilities.
