The Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA), is the national voice for plastics in Canada. With over 3,170 companies employing 95,400 workers, Canada’s $29.2 billion plastics industry is a sophisticated, multi-faceted sector encompassing plastic products manufacturing, machinery, moulds, and resins.
The CPIA is a dynamic, member-driven organization dedicated to the growth of plastics businesses and helping the industry reach its full potential. We are an advocacy association, and we speak with one powerful voice.
Our three priorities are:
Just the facts: CPIA prides itself on communicating the facts behind plastics’ manufacturing and use – from the material’s economical, social and environmental contributions to the size and strength of the Canadian manufacturing sector.
Second lives: CPIA is committed to increasing the amount of plastic and the different types of plastic waste being diverted from landfill through the use of various waste management options, such as reuse, recycle and energy recovery.
New opportunities: CPIA remains committed to building upon the industry’s long history of innovation and achievement by taking advantage of new opportunities and meeting industry challenges as they arise.
