	Plastic Bottles Plastic beverage bottles are recycled into products such as: carpet fibre; pillow fiberfill; polar fleece; upholstery and stuffing for ski jackets, cushions, mattresses and sleeping bags. Plastic food and non-food bottles are recycled into new bottles, tote boxes, fencing and plastic lumber. Opportunities exist to increase the recycling of plastic bottles through the use of optical sorting technology. This technology is both cost-effective and efficient.
